HORACE McQUEEN MURDOCH Peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Horace Murdoch, aged 82 years. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Bernice; one brother, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret and four brothers. Horace was born on September 11, 1919 in Birsay, SK. He later lived and farmed in the Petersfield area. Horace was a kind, patient man who liked the simple things in life. He enjoyed curling, bowling and time spent with family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. barb janes officiating. Interment to follow in the Cloverdale United Cemetery.
